For general practices
The practice kit. Free, and yours to brand.
7 things you can print today. A poster for the waiting room, a leaflet for the patient, a script for reception, a preference sheet that tells us how you want this run, and the 3 referral templates. Nothing to sign, and no obligation to refer anything.
Patient facing
What your patients see
Written for someone in their seventies reading it in a waiting room, not for a clinician. Plain type, short sentences, and the word free where they will see it.
Waiting room poster
One question in large type: are you taking 5 or more medicines? Then the 3 facts that matter to a patient and a single instruction, ask at reception. Print it, pin it up, done.
Patient leaflet
What happens, what it costs, what to have ready, and the 3 questions patients actually ask, including whether it is a scam. Hand it over at the point you mention a review.
Reception and nursing script
A 20 second explanation your front desk can read off, the 4 questions they will get, and a paragraph you can paste onto your own website. Nobody at your practice has to learn the program.
Practice preference sheet
6 questions that decide how we work with you: how referrals are acknowledged, how the report comes back, whether we ring you on urgent findings, and whether follow-ups are offered automatically.
Practice software
The referral templates
Import into your letter writer once. Fields are the standard referral set, so nothing needs retyping and nothing arrives here incomplete.
Best Practice
Import once. After that a referral is 3 clicks and the patient's medicines, allergies, history and demographics fill themselves in.
MedicalDirector
Import once. After that a referral is 3 clicks and the patient's medicines, allergies, history and demographics fill themselves in.
Zedmed
Import once. After that a referral is 3 clicks and the patient's medicines, allergies, history and demographics fill themselves in.
Not on one of these? See the full list of software and secure messaging channels, or ring us and we will build a template for whatever you run.
Why the preference sheet
We would rather work the way you already work.
Most services tell a practice how referrals will be handled. The sheet asks instead. It takes 2 minutes, it applies to every referral from your practice, and you can change any of it later by phone.
- 1 How you want a referral acknowledged, or whether you would rather we didn't.
- 2 Which channel the report comes back through.
- 3 Whether we ring you the same day on an urgent finding, or flag it at the top of the report.
- 4 Whether follow-ups are offered automatically or you are asked each time.
Using it
A few things worth knowing
Put your own name on it
The poster and the leaflet carry our details in small type at the bottom because a patient needs to know who is coming to the house. Beyond that they are yours. Print them on practice letterhead, add your logo, change the wording. We will send an editable version if you ask.
The leaflet answers the scam question
The single most common reason a patient declines is that a stranger ringing about their medicines sounds like a scam. The leaflet says so in plain words, which is more convincing than a reassurance from us on the phone.
Nothing here creates an obligation
Downloading the kit does not sign you up to anything, does not put you on a list, and does not start any contact. If you print the poster and never refer a patient, that is a completely reasonable outcome.

Want it posted out?
We will put the poster and a stack of leaflets in an envelope and send them to your practice. Ring or email with the address and how many you want.
